Schengen Visa

The Schengen visa has facilitated travel and entry to 29 countries (25 member states of the European Union and 4 non-member states of the European Union). Traveling with a Schengen visa means traveling to any of the 29 countries with one visa (or all of them) using only one visa, thus saving the hassle and expense of obtaining a visa for each country separately. This visa is useful for those who travel to more than one European country during the same trip. It is a “visit visa” granted to citizens who must obtain a prior visa to enter the European Union.
The purpose of the visa must be a business or tourist visit, and after obtaining the visa, the holder is allowed to enter any of the member states and move between them freely. It is always recommended to plan your trips carefully according to the length of stay specified in the visa, as it is often difficult to extend it, which forces you to adhere to the visa rules and instructions specified during your stay there. The Schengen visa allows its holder to move freely between Schengen countries for a maximum of ninety days within a period of six months.
