Your steps towards a visa start here, with precise instructions and ready-made forms. All requirements and information are at your fingertips.

1- Passport: A passport valid for at least six months and previous passports.

2- Photographs: 02 recent photographs, 3.5 x 4.5 cm in size (white background), no more than six months old.

3- Collection of biometric data (10-fingerprint scan and a digital photo): Available from the age of 14 to 79 years.

4- Health insurance policy: Available for those over 75 years old.

5- Documents supporting the application:
– The application form for obtaining a temporary residence visa must be completely filled out – Form IMM 5257E – After filling out the form successfully, a new page with a barcode will appear. This page must be printed and attached to the application, otherwise your application will not be considered.
– Fill out IMM Form 5257B for those who have performed military service.
– Fill out the family data form – IMM Form 5645.
– Proof of financial ability to cover the cost of the trip and residence in Canada by submitting a bank statement covering the last year and showing the movement of the account, and/or the last two salary receipts and/or proof of pension and/or investments…etc.).
– If you cannot bear the cost of your trip or the expenses of your stay in Canada, you must clarify this and explain how your trip will be financially covered by submitting documents explaining this.
– Photocopies of birth certificates for children under the age of 18.
– Explain the purpose of the visit and provide proof of this.
– A letter from the employer stating the date of appointment, position, monthly salary, name of the direct manager, and the authorized period of leave.
– Commercial register and tax card for self-employed persons, along with submitting the business bank statement
– For students: a letter of enrollment at the university/school must be submitted.
– If the applicant is less than 18 years old, his parents must come in person to the embassy headquarters to sign a declaration approving his travel.
– If the applicant is under 18 years of age and is traveling with only one parent, the other party must come in person to the embassy headquarters to sign a declaration approving his travel.

6- Linguistic requirements: Applications and documents supporting the application must be submitted, along with a scanned copy, in English.

7- The period required to obtain a visa: from one to two weeks.

8- Conducting a personal interview: Yes.

9- Visa fees: 1,240 Egyptian pounds (entry once or multiple times, including the cost of collecting biometric data for those over 13 years old and under 80 years old) – 873 Egyptian pounds (entry once or multiple times for those under 14 years old or over 79 years).

– A letter of invitation from a friend or family member in Canada stating the full name, date of birth, address, telephone numbers, your relationship with the invited person, the purpose of the visit, the length of time the invited person will spend in Canada, the invited person’s place of residence and who will bear the cost of the accommodation, and the date of the invited person’s departure from Canada. With a scanned copy of his Canadian passport, a scanned copy of his housing contract in Canada, and a scanned copy of his monthly salary statement.
– For students: a letter of enrollment at the university/school must be submitted.
