Burundi Visa

The Republic of Burundi is a landlocked country in the Great Rift Valley at the junction between the African Great Lakes region and Southeast Africa. It is bordered by Rwanda to the north, Tanzania to the east and southeast, and the Democratic Republic of the Congo to the west; Lake Tanganyika lies along its southwestern border. The city of Gitega is the capital; French and Kirundi are the official languages; and the Burundian Franc is the national currency.

 

The Republic of Burundi allows Egyptian passport holders to apply for an electronic visa if they provide

 

– A photocopy of a valid passport for at least six months.

– One recent biometric photo, white background, not digitally modified.

– A confirmed round trip air ticket.

– A confirmed hotel booking.

– A proof of available funds to cover the trip expenses.

– An international vaccination certificate against Yellow Fever.

– A valid travel insurance and if you hold a travel insurance sticker on your passport, save it from here.

Visa Types and Fees

 

Type A:

Visa validity: up to 30 days – single entry.

Stay period:  up to 30 days.

Visa fees: 70 USD

 

Type B:

Visa validity: up to six months – multiple entry.

Stay period: up to 90 days for each visit.

Visa fees: 120 USD
