Argentina Visa

The Argentine Republic is in the southern half of South America. It is the second-largest country in South America after Brazil. It shares the bulk of the Southern Cone with Chile to the west and is also bordered by Bolivia and Paraguay to the north, Brazil to the northeast, Uruguay and the South Atlantic Ocean to the east, and the Drake Passage to the south. The city of Buenos Aires is the capital, Spanish is the official language, and the Argentine Peso is the national currency.

1- Passport:

– Passport has to be valid for at least six months after the expiry of the requested visa.

– Passport has to be signed before the visa application.

– Has at least two blank pages and full photocopy of the biometric page, third page, and all previous visas.

2- Application Form & Instructions:  A complete printed visa application form signed by the applicant.

3- Biometric Photo:

– Two recent biometric photos.

– White background.

– Not digitally modified.

– Don’t staple or glue the photo to the application form.

4- Accommodation:

– A valid hotel reservation or an invitation letter addressed to the Consul of Argentina in Cairo and sent by post to the embassy of Argentina in Cairo.

5- Flight: A round-trip flight reservation.

6- Itinerary: Include information about your travel plans and purpose of stay.

7- Proof of Economic Roots in Egypt:

– Official letter from the current employer indicating the applicant’s name, position, salary, date of employment, social insurance number, dates of travel, company address, telephone numbers, email, name and title of the signatory.

– For business owners: Attach a copy of a valid commercial register, a valid tax card, and an official stamped bank statement of the company.

– For students: Attach a valid school certificate or proof of university graduation.

– An official bank statement of the last the six months (current or saving account) and includes the contact details of the bank officer.

8- Minors: If a minor is travelling alone, a certified parental approval and photocopies of parents’ passports and the minor’s birth certificate is required. If the minor is travelling with one of the parents, the other one has to sign a travel approval at the embassy.

9- Translation of Documents: Any documents issued in Arabic have to be translated to Spanish.

10- Personal Interview: Decided by the embassy after submitting the application. 

11- Processing Time: 15 working days.

12- Visa Fees: 180 USD.

7- Proof of Economic Roots in Egypt:

– Proof of sufficient funds to cover stay and study expenses (consular authorities may request copies of bank account statements, credit card statements, or other).

– If the applicant is 16 or older traveling for a period exceeding six months, an apostilled or legalized certificate of good conduct issued by the competent authority of the countries of residencies where they resided for more than one year over the previous three years.

– If the applicant is 16 or older traveling for a period exceeding six months, commitment to tell the truth or sworn affidavit of their lack of a criminal record in other countries, signed before the Consul.
