Thailand Visa
The Kingdom of Thailand is a country in Southeast Asia on the Indochinese Peninsula. It is bordered to the northwest by Myanmar, to the northeast and east by Laos, to the southeast by Cambodia, to the south by the Gulf of Thailand and Malaysia, and to the southwest by the Andaman Sea; it also shares maritime borders with Vietnam to the southeast and Indonesia and India to the southwest. The city of Bangkok is the capital and largest city; Thai is the official language; the Thai Baht is the national currency.
The Kingdom of Thailand allows Egyptian passport holders to apply for an electronic entry visa if they provide the following
– A photocopy of a valid passport for at least six months.
– One biometric recent photo with white background.
– Have a confirmed round trip air ticket.
– A hotel reservation or a photocopy of the national ID of the inviting person in Thailand
– An official bank statement for the last three months (current or savings account) with a balance of no less than 1000 USD or its equivalent.
– Official letter from the current employer indicating the applicant’s name, position, salary, date of employment, social insurance number, dates of travel, company address, telephone numbers, email, name and title of the signatory.
Processing Time: 10 working days.
Visa Types and Fees
Type A:
Visa validity: 03 months – single entry.
Stay period: 60 days.
Visa fees: 3000 EGP.
Type B:
Visa validity: 06 months – multiple entry.
Stay period: 60 days for each visit.
Visa fees: 8700 EGP.
- Visa fees to be paid in Egyptian Pounds according to the official exchange rate on the day of the application.
