1- Passport:

– Passport has to be valid for at least six months after the expiry of the requested visa.

– Passport has to have at least two blank pages.

– Passport has to be signed before the visa application.

– A photocopy of the biometric page, third page, and all previous visas.

– A photocopy of the previous passports and visas.

2- Application Form & Instructions:  A completed online visa application form signed by the applicant.

3- Biometric Photo:

– One recent biometric photo.

– White background.

– Not digitally modified.

– Don’t staple or glue the photo to the application form.

4- Accommodation:

– A confirmed hotel reservation or an unofficial invitation or a proof of a rented accommodation.

5- Flight: A round-trip flight reservation.

6- Itinerary: Include information about your travel plans and purpose of stay.

7- Proof of Economic Roots in Egypt:

– Official letter from the current employer indicating the applicant’s name, position, salary, date of employment, social insurance number, dates of travel, company address, telephone numbers, email, name and title of the signatory.

– For business owners: Attach a copy of a valid commercial register, a valid tax card, and an official stamped bank statement of the company.

– For students: Attach a valid school certificate or proof of university graduation.

–  An official bank statement covering the last six months (current or savings account) or a proof of ownership of assets.

8- Minors: If a minor is travelling alone, a certified parental approval and photocopies of parents’ passports and the minor’s birth certificate.

9- Translation of Documents: Any documents issued in Arabic have to be translated to Portuguese or English.

10- Personal Interview: Yes, appointment is scheduled by the embassy.

11- Processing Time: 05 working days.

12- Visa Fees: 110 USD (to be paid in cash or by a bank transfer in USD).
