Cuba Visa

The Republic of Cuba is an island country, comprising the island of Cuba (largest island), Isla de la Juventud, and 4,195 islands, islets and cays surrounding the main island. It is located where the northern Caribbean Sea, Gulf of Mexico, and Atlantic Ocean meet. Cuba is located east of Mexico, south of both Florida and the Bahamas, west of Haiti and the Dominican Republic, and north of Jamaica and the Cayman Islands. The city of Havana is the capital and largest city; Spanish is the official language; and the Cuban Peso is the national currency.

1- Passport:

– Passport has to be valid for at least six months after the expiry of the requested visa.

– Passport has to have at least two blank pages.

– Passport has to be signed before the visa application.

– A photocopy of the biometric page, third page, and all previous visas.

– A photocopy of the previous passports and visas.

2- Application Form & Instructions:  A completed visa application form signed by the applicant.

3- Biometric Photo:

–  One recent biometric photo.

– White background.

– Not digitally modified.

– Don’t staple or glue the photo to the application form.

4- Accommodation:

– A confirmed hotel reservation.

5- Flight: A round-trip flight reservation.

6- Itinerary: Include information about your travel plans and purpose of stay.

7- Proof of Economic Roots in Egypt:

– Official letter from the current employer indicating the applicant’s name, position, salary, date of employment, social insurance number, dates of travel, company address, telephone numbers, email, name and title of the signatory.

– For business owners: Attach a copy of a valid commercial register, a valid tax card, and an official stamped bank statement of the company.

– For students: Attach a valid school certificate or proof of university graduation.

–  An official bank statement covering the last three months (current or savings account) or a proof of ownership of assets.

8- Minors: If a minor is travelling alone, a certified parental approval and photocopies of parents’ passports and the minor’s birth certificate.

9- Translation of Documents: Any documents issued in Arabic have to be translated to Spanish.

10- Personal Interview: No

11- Processing Time: 05 working days.

12- Visa Fees: 110 USD (single entry – stay 30 days) including Ta2shira.com handling fees and doesn’t include translation or extra services fees.

 

  • All travelers to Cuba have to fill in the online electronic travel permit 48 hours before the travel date and also before leaving Cuba. You keep a printed copy of the permit. Airlines will not allow any traveler to Cuba onboard if the electronic travel permit is missing.
