Australia Visa

The Commonwealth of Australia is a country comprising the mainland of the Australian continent, the island of Tasmania and numerous smaller islands. Australia is separated from Asia by the Arafura and Timor seas, with the Coral Sea lying off the Queensland coast, and the Tasman Sea lying between Australia and New Zealand. The city of Canberra is the capital, English is the official language, the Australian Dollar is the national currency.

1- Passport:

– Passport has to be valid for at least six months after the expiry of the requested visa.

– Passport has to be signed before the visa application.

– A full colored photocopy of the biometric page, third page, and all previous visas.

2- Application Form & Instructions:  A complete online visa application form.

3- Biometric Photo:

– One recent biometric photo.

– White background.

– Not digitally modified.

– Don’t staple or glue the photo to the application form.

4- Biometric Data:

After submitting the visa application, the Australian Ministry of Foreign Affairs decides if the applicant’s biometric data is required.

5- Travel Insurance:

– A valid travel insurance.

– If you hold a travel insurance sticker on your passport, print it from here before the visa application date.

6- Accommodation:

– A valid hotel reservation.

– Or an official invitation letter (an Official Letter of Commitment) not older than six months and copy of the invitee’s passport or residency permit.

– Or a non-official invitation letter signed by the invitee and includes the full address, contact details, and a copy of his passport or residency permit.

– Or an invitation letter from an Australian company on the company’s letter head and includes the name of the visa applicant, the company’s type of business, travel dates, contact details of the company and the signing person.  The letter should also clarify if the inviting company is covering the travel expenses.

7- Flight: A round-trip flight reservation.

8- Itinerary: Include information about your travel plans and purpose of stay.

9- Proof of Social Roots in Egypt:

– An official copy of the family register if married or single registry.

– If the applicant is a widow, an official copy of the death certificate of the husband or wife.

– A criminal record.

– A copy of the national ID card.

10- Proof of Economic Roots in Egypt:

– Official letter from the current employer indicating the applicant’s name, position, salary, date of employment, social insurance number, dates of travel, company address, telephone numbers, email, name and title of the signatory.

– For business owners: Attach a copy of a valid commercial register, a valid tax card, and an official stamped bank statement of the company.

– For students: Attach a valid school certificate or proof of university graduation.

11- Minors: If a minor is travelling alone, a certified parental approval and photocopies of parents’ passports and the minor’s birth certificate.

12- Translation of Documents: Any documents issued in Arabic have to be translated to English.

12- Processing Time: up to 39 working days.

13- Visa Fees: 256 Australian Dollars.
